About Mooragh Park
A 44-acre Victorian public park on the north side of Ramsey, built on land reclaimed from what was originally salt marsh. Its centrepiece is a large man-made boating lake, still used for canoeing and pedalo hire, ringed by gardens, tennis courts and a bowling green in the same late-19th-century civic-park tradition as the rest of the town's seafront. It sits a short walk from Ramsey's harbour and the start of the coastal path north towards the Point of Ayre.
